Coffee bottles
Anyone bought a Starbucks Frappuccino in a bottle lately? I bought one today and noticed that it seemed bigger than what they used to be like. Granted its been a few years since I've had one. I used to live off this stuff in college. Ask Tim, he knows I had cases stored under my bed for daily consumption emergencies.
Anyways, I bought one from the local store this morning and I thought the size was just an illusion of having not had one in a long time. I looked it up and yes, for some reason they are bigger now. They used to be 9.5 fl oz, but the one that I have right now is a whopping 13.7 fl oz. Weird. Rarely do I see companies giving you MORE of their product for the same price. Is there an overwhelming excess of coffee beans in the world? Did they just have these extra big bottles lying around that they needed to fill? Or is Starbucks trying to get a new generation of coffee drinkers addicted to caffeine faster and sooner? Hmmmmm.
