Last night my AIM away message said "Thank goodness tomorrow is Sunday". In the morning someone had IM'ed me asking what was going on on Sunday other than church? The answer was, absolutely nothing. I love the local church, and this week has been especially hard that I was so looking forward to Sunday service. Both big service and ECHO were great, as usual. Pastor Rob spoke on the ordinances of Baptism and Communion and their purpose in the church and in the believer's life.

In ECHO, Broun brought the Word from Revelation. One of his points that truly reminded me of God's faithfulness is the truth that God brings us through times of trials with the promise of sanctification, but also the promise that He will bring us out of it. Broun added that these trials are unavoidable, that God will not avoid these periods of time simply for comfort's sake. While this was hard to swallow, I rest on the promise that the Lord will see me through anything.

Thank you Savior, for dying in my place.
