Paul originally thought that he was leaving Thursday afternoon. But a quick check of his itinerary showed that his flight was actually Friday morning. So Thursday was a fun day of hanging around Austin once again. Lunch was none other than Rudy's BBQ. After lunch we wanted to check out some outdoorsy stuff, so we originally planned on going to Bull Creek just to check it out. But I was retarded, I totally forgot where the entrance to Bull Creek was so we ended up not getting to see it. I was driving around the 360/2222 area for a little while before I finally gave up. I then decided that we would more easily find places at Zilker Park, so we drove down there. I thought it would be cool to show Paul where Barton Springs was. Having never ever been there before, I found it surprisingly easy to find.

Yes, you are correct, I have never ever been to Barton Springs before in my life.

I didn't know this until we got there, but Barton Springs is closed for cleaning on Thursdays, so we weren't able to check it out. On our way out we saw a sign for canoe and kayak rentals, so we followed the sign and ended up at Rowing Dock, which is a place on Town Lake. We decided to do it, however, I was wearing jeans so we went home first to change and also drag Janice along. We came back properly dressed, with Janice, and also with a coupon for buy 1 get 1 hour free rental. We had a good time, and I really enjoyed my first time kayaking on Town Lake.

Yes, you are correct again. I have never ever been rowing on Town Lake. Sheesh, gimme a break.

Then after been thoroughly worn out from boating, Paul and I went to Salt Lick for dinner and stuffed ourselves rather voraciously. It was great.
