I figure I better update since I'm heading to Houston today and I may not update until after the weekend is over.

This week has been a lot better than last week. Continuing the hanging out with people theme, Wednesday night I went with a few guys and gals from ECHO to Zilker Park for their Blues on the Green music event. We heard a few performances by mostly local artists, although we showed up late and were in the way back of the park, but it was still fun hanging out with people there. There were so many people there. At first I thought it was just going to be a small crowd there, but there was an ocean of people that came out for this event. Kinda sad that I'm just now discovering Austin music, but oh well, better later than never.

Yesterday I had lunch with Alex. It had been a looooooong time since we met up, sadly. But it was good to hang out and fellowship together once again. Pretty cool that he's dating now:)

After that David "diddy" Kwong came over to my house and I took him to Westlake for a driving lesson. He's looking to buy a MT car in the next couple of months, but first you gotta learn how to drive stick. He's actually pretty good. I think this was only our second time out, but he's picking it up quickly. Looking back, I think it took me a long time before I really got as consistent as he is now at starting and stopping.

I'm heading off to Houston in a few hours. This Saturday Ricky and Sharon are having their Houston reception and I'm supposed to go and "give a few words". We'll see what happens:) I'm leaving early so that I can check out a shop that may sell the engine that we need for Project 240sx. Also I'm gonna try to hang out with my friend Lindsey from grad school there.

Oh yeah, one more thing. 3 Fast 3 Furious comes out today. HAHAHAHAHA.
