Yesterday's sermon in ECHO centered around the desire for true biblical community within the church, within friends... kinda tied into what the last post was about. Rather than talking about what we can do to have community and fellowship amongst one another, the speaker took a step back and talked about where true fellowship comes from. What he said really made me think. He said that "true biblical community only happens when people are being actively transformed by Christ." He went on to say that anything else is counterfeit or only looks like community.

Something to think about. As without a doubt the guys whom I look up to are constantly being transformed by the power of the Gospel.
