This week is shaping out to be really busy. I have a lab report due on Friday that I'm still working on after almost two weeks. I thought I would be close to finishing by now but I guess not. Hopefully tonight I'll be able to finish that way I'll be a little more free on Thursday to work on the car. I spent a few hours last night in the computer lab trying to make progress on the report, but this stuff takes FOREVER. A lot of it is trial-and-error, which in my opinion makes it so that you're not really learning anything, you're just trying to get the right result. If only there was some method to the madness...

Yesterday I came across some of the Informal Classes that UT is offering throughout the semester. Usually I'm not interested in them because (1) they cost money, and (2) I don't know anyone who is going to them. But they've got an advanced digital photography class that I really want to take. It's only $52 for UT students and I don't mind going by myself since I usually snap pictures by myself anyways. But if you're interested, sign up for it too. I wouldn't mind having some friends in the class. It doesn't seem like the class is really "advanced" in terms of technique; rather just advanced equipment. You are required to have a digital (or film, but then you'll have to scan pics) SLR camera for the class.
