This afternoon I had a dentist appointment for some treatment on some upper jaw teeth. I think it was for some caps??? I dunno, they just said they were doing something or other. Dentistry is not covered in Biomedical Engineering so I just shrug and let them do whatever it is that thye need to do.

Anyways, before the dentist got started he asks me, "Because we're doing some minor work on your teeth today, you have the option of having no anesthesia. Is this something you would want to do?"

Of course, I wasn't thinking about it so I say, "Sure. That sounds fine." It was fine throughout the appointment, probably cuz I was trying to just endure everything and get out of there as fast as I could. But now that I've left and gone home, my teeth and gums feel a little sore. Maybe I should have had him numb my whole mouth. I guess there's a trade-off since with a numbed mouth I could be drooling out the side and not know about it.
