Just got back from Tiem's place a little while ago. Spent the evening just hanging out with Ricky and Sharon. I had originally planned to go over there to keep Ricky company because I thought he wasn't going to be able to go out to Moses and Eddie's birthday extravaganza. But he felt good enough to go which was cool. He and Sharon had left the dinner a little earlier so I still got to hang out at Tiem's house, but with both Ricky and Sharon. We had a good time just catching up and bumming around. It continues to amaze me how fast Ricky is progressing. Even from yesterday he seems more mobile, and the pain seems to be subsiding (although that could be from the drugs, or just from increased endurance).

Today he asked me to feel his collar bone to see if it was out of place. He thought something funny was going on in terms of the positioning of the clavicle. I couldn't tell for sure but it did seem like there was a difference on the lateral side of the right clavicle compared to the left one. That is, for those of you who have taken anatomy before (ahem, Sandy), it seemed like there was something funny going on between the clavicle and acromion on the scapula (intuitively called the acromioclavicular joint). But actually, a quick Google search turns up that a slight bump will occur as part of the healing process. So I guess everything is healing as planned... maybe even faster than expected.
