Scott and I went to see Ricky last night. He was up playing Mario tennis with Sharon and also surfing the internet. We just spent time hanging out and catching up. I don't lead too exciting of a life so I didn't really have much to tell him about what had been going on with me. But anyways, the guy looks good for someone who got hit by the planet Earth and then spent two days in the hospital. His recovery is coming along well. He's still in a bit of pain from the accident but he can stand up and get around if he needs to, as well as control the GameCube joypad for some video game action. It seems like he's doing better than when I first talked to Sharon over the weekend when they were still in Utah. Each day seems to be getting better and better so it's good to hear.
It's encouraging to see him in good spirits. He was even joking about the snowboarding he did on the trip, saying that out of all the jumps he went off, the last jump got him the highest since it got him a ride in the helicopter that airlifted him off the mountain. In fact, he was still in good enough shape to laugh and tell me how ridiculous I was for some comments I made about something. I would have been concerned if he DIDN'T tell me I was being retarded (once again).
Anyways, hope you recover soon, Ricky. That way we can get back to our weekly lunches at the Jester dorm cafeteria. Yum!
