For those of you who missed yesterday's stunning defeat of USC, you missed out on what was probably not only the best bowl game of the post-season, but the best game of the ENTIRE season. I watched the game at Scott and Marian's house where everyone spontaneously combusted watching #10 score the game winning touchdown with 0:19 remaining in the 4th quarter. Nathan calmly stated that he was not worried at all that Texas would end up winning at that point, but I know the truth. The guy was getting antsy on that drive... standing up in the back with me nervously eating celery which had been placed out by Marian.

Either way, UT won and the whole town is going crazy these days. We wanted to go down to campus last night but no one dared to brave the crowds that formed. In fact, I heard that there was a lot of partying into the wee hours of the morning because of that win. I actually just wanted to go to take pictures of the Tower which is now lit up burnt orange with the number 1 in lights. It'll stay like that until the end of the weekend.

So tonight, we headed down to campus to take pictures. I actually went twice. The first time I went by myself and spent about an hour taking pictures and experimenting with my camera. After that, I went to Buffalo Billiards and hung out with Scott, Marian, and a few other people whom Marian had invited. Played pool, foosball and darts. But then afterwards a few of us went down to the campus again and took some more pictures.

But man, there were waaaaaay too many people there with the same idea. I'm thinking about going back at 3am one night when no one is there and snapping some pics. Tonight was kinda like a practice. You can see the pics in the gallery.
