Continued work on the Corolla today. Wei and I tackled the timing belt which took pretty much the whole day. The car runs great with all the new parts. We used the battery from my RSX and the car fired up strong. We've made really good progress in the last two days but there's still more that has to be done.

We found out that the window regulator (the thing that makes the window go up and down) on the passenger side is broken so we'll need to find another one of those. Unfortunately, it costs $75 brand new. Not good when you're trying to fix up the car on a budget. But it's alright, it's a great car to begin with and it'll have a good home once we're done fixing it up. One bit of encouraging news, a friend of mine actually donated some money to the project yesterday. I was really caught off guard and just very encouraged to know that people care about this project.
