Hey everyone, hope your Christmas weekend has been going well regardless of whether you spent it with a million friends and family or if you spent it by yourself just resting and relaxing. Mine has been a middle ground of sorts, not truly alone, but not crowded with people pinching your cheeks telling you how much you've grown since last year... Actually, that hasn't happened to me for years now. I guess I stopped growing a long time ago. Vertically, that is.

My Saturday was spent just relaxing. I met up with Alex for lunch at T.G.I.Fridays and we got to catch up on all the things that have happened in the last couple of weeks. For me, it was the wedding, but for him it's been this class that he's teaching on evangelism for some people at the church. Pretty cool, since last Alex was telling me his most recent in-town visit to preach the gospel in public. In fact, while we were at lunch, Alex handed out gospel tracts to the hostess and our waiter at the restaurant. It's his boldness for the gospel that never fails to astound and amaze me.

After lunch I ended up doing some last minute shopping with my sis at the mall. I came home with some good news and some bad news. The good news is that I got this cool winter jacket from BR that was marked down 50% off from yesterday when I had seen it. The bad news is that it's like 65 degrees here these days.

I'm looking forward to Christmas service at church today (it's 1am right now). It should be really good. I mean, it's Christmas, how can it NOT be good? That's why I still don't understand why all these churches aren't having services on Christmas day. We're celebrating the coming of the Savior. Doesn't that make you want to go to church?
