I'm back to work today. Trying to get some stuff done today. Yesterday was spent catching up on a lot of sleep. Even though I woke up late yesterday and took a long afternoon nap, I still slept pretty soundly last night. On top of that, I revisited the local Starbucks this morning for a little pick-me-up. Pretty cool, since the lady there knows my name and knows my order, so she placed the order for me before I even got up to the counter. But soon enough, I don't think I'll be visiting there as often anymore. Last week, I was introduced to "Cafe Bustelo" by Jimmy. It's coffee from Gristedes in New York City, we had it almost everyday at Jimmy's place. He'd make it in the morning when we woke up, and also in the evening after getting back from dinner. Everytime he'd pull out the can or introduce it to someone new, it was always followed with the phrase, "Bustelo's gonna get you". It's a lot cheaper than Starbucks, so I ordered a can from Amazon. Once it gets here, it's gonna be guuud.

It's hard to believe that I was a million miles away from Texas last week. That whole time has been almost like a blur. I find myself repeatedly looking at the pictures and reveling in the time spent last week with friends, new and old.

Anyways, today I'm planning on having lunch with one of the staff from ECHO at EV Free. It should be a good conversation. I'm looking to help out with the college ministry there, so hopefully there is a good fit for me there.
