Okay, for starters, the weather was unbelievable today. Clear and sunny, it was breezy,  long-sleeve shirt weather. That, and I could wear my knit cap for good measure.

Anyways, I'm taking some pictures of RIcky and Sharon tomorrow after church so today I went outside to practice with my camera. I decided to shoot in RAW format since Tim has talked so much about it. I had always shied away from RAW because of the extra step of post-processing that it required, as well as special software to even view the images. But since there is free software out there for RAW images, I decided to give it a try. I really liked using it! I think part of it is because I'm quite a noob photographer, so RAW really gives me the freedom to tweak my image after I've taken it because usually I haven't done very well in metering or white balancing. That coupled with bracketing makes sure that I have good exposure in my shots. Now all that's left is composition.

I took some of my pictures from today and posted them in the gallery. I also finally changed the background music to the gallery (not that anyone really listened to it). I usually just turned it off when I visited the pictures.
