Not in Austin
Got in to BWI last night around 10pm. We were delayed in Austin for two hours. One hour just due to the plane being delayed getting to Austin, the second hour was due to a faulty door hatch that didn't close completely before take-off. I fell asleep before take-off (surprise, surprise), but I was told that we took off, circled Austin for 10 minutes, and then landed again due the this door. So suffice it to say, I missed my connection flight in Nashville but was fortunately put on a later flight to Baltimore.
Last night Tim and Jimmy picked me up from the airport, and immediately the madness began. Since it was Veteran's Day, Jimmy and I immediately began thanking Tim profusely for everything that he had done. The jokes were never ending and even as we went out to eat there were a few um... outbreaks of laughter in public.
I'm looking forward to meeting up with everyone at some point either tonight or tomorrow. Hanging out with the Hopkins crew always seems to be a retreat for me of some sorts. Just enjoying fellowship with them just refreshes me in some way, and to be honest, I need a lot of refreshing these days... thankfully, my Physiology exam is over and I don't have to think about it for a while. That thing was crazy... I think half my answers were just guesses. But anyways, that's another story for another time.
ps: thanks to those who were concerned about my visit by the Po-po. But just so you know, I'm o-kay.
