Man oh man. What a weekend. On Saturday I was so blessed to be able to attend Scott and Marian's wedding. It was the first time in recent memory that I attended a wedding where I knew both the bride and groom well. Because of that, it made the event even more special. I enjoyed just seeing my two friends up there during the ceremony, and celebrating at the reception. From beginning to end, we the audience were made graciously aware of God's presence. Many times during the ceremony I was humbled again by God's working not only in the couple's lives, but also reminded of His working in mine. Seeing how Scott and Marian had conducted themselves during their courtship made me want to seek after that kind of relationship even more.

Then at the reception I had the unbelievable honor of being the emcee for the afternoon. It was a privilege to serve my friends like that, and I rather enjoyed continually directing the audience's attention to the couple and to their families. My only regret is that I wasn't able to take too many pictures. Really the only pictures I have in the gallery right now are from the rehearsal Friday night, and the ceremony. But you know, I consider that a small sacrifice to be a part of Scott and Marian's wedding. I'd take that exchange any day of the week. So yeah, if anyone has any pics they'd like to share with me, post the link in the comments section. I'd love to see pics of things I might have missed while I was up front encouraging people to kiss each other...

Yeah, I hope people take that out of context.
