Boats and Water
It was a lot of fun to say the least. For me, it was the first time out on the water (and in shorts) in a loooong time. Jocelin was quick to point out my pasty white legs. Fortunately, after a few hours of sun, the pastiness is lessened to a certain degree.
I didn't do any wakeboarding, but I did jump in the water whenever I had the chance. I've decided that water sports are not for me. The last couple of times I've been out on the water, I've tried to wakeboard with unsuccessful results. So this time, I conceded and admitted my weakness and just stayed on the boat. It's alright, while my weakness lies in the water, I'm a lot more comfortable on the pavement doing MOTORsports:) I will say though that being out in the water felt so good on such a hot day. (It was so hot that in the afternoon I could feel the effects of heatsoak on my car. It was pretty sluggish on the drive back home).
Around lunch time we pulled the boat into the dock at Hula Hut and went in for lunch. Eddie had just come from the Austin Convention Center in his attempts to get on Discovery Channel's Pop Culture. Unfortunately, there was another Transformers collector there and DC decided to put that guy on tv instead. Bad move, in my mind. All in all, it was a good time of fellowship and getting to know one another better.
