A few months ago, Eddie, Bee and I entered into this UT contest on who
could have the best marketable idea. The winner would get connections
and partnership to work with major companies to put their idea out to
market. Our idea wasn't the most technical, and it definitely wasn't
the crappiest idea out there. We came up with the idea of putting USB
connections into cars that could read and play mp3s on the car stereo.
Now, when the results came out, we were nowhere listed in the top 10,
or even the honorable mention. So we thought that maybe our idea wasn't
as practical or even desirable in car audio.
Until TODAY! I came across this article on CNN.com
"USB for your car - Sept 16, 2005"
Everything about it was included in our idea and submission to this
contest. Man, we could have been rich. We could have had it all. We
could have been ballers. Whatever that means.
