Woohoo!

We got a call this morning from a friend of my uncle that my relatives were safe and sound in Lafayette! So. Awesome. Apparently my uncle had contacted them and asked them to call us to let us know how they were. They gave us the phone number of where they were and we were able to get through to them in Lafayette. Apparently they had not been evacuated until late Thursday. That corresponds with one of the news bulletins that I was able to track down that said that Tulane doctors had been evacuated to Lafayette. Guess they were part of that evacuation. Also got word just a few minutes ago that Angela's dad was located still in New Orleans.
