Chloe has needed a haircut since the second she came out of the womb. But it was only until this week where we finally admitted that we could not wait any longer. No one appreciates having hair in their face while learning to crawl.

I suggested just cutting the bangs straight across. I could have gotten a bowl to help with that. But Carolyn wanted to go for a more trendy look where the bangs are more "wispy". That was followed by several exclamations of "Oh no! It looks terrible!"

I thought it was fine. But I came home later that this week to find Chloe with shorter yet more evenly trimmed bangs.

I still think it's fine.

impressive that carolyn did the trim by herself! i feel like i usually need at least ricky, or now that james is older, the TV :P

i did find it helps to use "real" haircutting scissors. They seem to grab the hair better?

as long as Chloe is smiling, she looks cute with any hair style! Ever thought of trying to shave her hair before she turns one year old as the Taiwanese custom?
