I really enjoyed my birthday this year. Since we went to a New Year's Eve party the night before, Chloe was with the grandparents sleeping over. After our party, we went over to my parents' house and stayed there. My sister was leaving to go back to school the next day so we stayed up for a while just chatting and eating Taco Cabana (some of the most unhealthiest food in the world). I fell asleep around 3am.

The next morning, I woke up to some noise in the kitchen thinking that it was my sister getting ready to go to the airport. Instead it was my dad coming back home from taking her to the airport. I went to check on the little Chloe and found that she was still asleep. After just wandering around the house a bit, she woke up and started to make some noise. Since Carolyn was still asleep, I went to see if my parents were awake. They were all too happy to play with the little one in the early morning.

Once Carolyn woke up, I took Chloe to her and the three of us just lay in bed for a little while just enjoying the lazy morning. My dad woke up and decided to go out to buy some breakfast for us, which we were able to then enjoy all together once everyone was up and about.

Later in the morning I helped my parents clean their garage. There were a lot of old cardboard boxes stacked up in the corner. Boxes for anything that was too old or too cheap to resell was easily tossed out without a second thought. Though there are still a lot of things to go through, it was a nice start to having a tidy garage.

At this point, my mom and Carolyn decided to go to the mall, and by then my allergies were starting to go crazy, so I needed to go home. I went home to shower, and afterwards the ladies came back from the mall with some lunch for me.

After a bit of rest, my friend called me to do some car work, so I headed back over to my parents house where all the tools are and spent a few hours tinkering around in the garage. The work also required a quick trip to Sears which resulted in some extra tools for me. Always a nice plus:)

At the end of the day, though Carolyn was intending to take me out to watch a movie, my allergies were getting the best of me, so my parents brought over some dinner to our place and all we had a nice quiet meal together.

Throughout the day though, my phone was pretty much blowing up with Facebook messages and phone calls from friends wishing me happy birthday. I didn't get many of these messages till the end of the day. So though I didn't do anything super exciting, all in all it was a good day.
