Houston for Christmas
And we're back from Houston!
Our travels took us to Houston to be with family for Christmas this year. Both the Su's and the Sun's gathered together for the Christmas weekend. My cousin Willie came into town as well from Mississippi, and we were able to spend time with our extended family as well.
I feel like so much happened this weekend that it can't be covered in just one blog post. We had a fun time sharing in Chloe's first Christmas. Since Carolyn and Chloe went to Houston a week earlier, Chloe was able to spend an extended amount of time with her grandparents that week. It also seems that the cuter you are, the more Christmas presents you get, because Chloe seemed to rake it in.
Since my sister was in town, our whole family was able to attend church together as a family on Sunday. This is something that hasn't happened in over 5 years for us. I found myself missing that and reminiscing on past years.
As I look back on the weekend, I feel like we didn't really do much other than eat, but to be together for the holidays was more than enough.
