I know it's only been 6 nights, but Chloe's sleep training is taking a toll on us. I think it's the lack of sleep that we're getting since Chloe will wake up and cry. Before, at least one of us would get up to soothe her back to sleep while the other could continue sleeping. On top of that, soothing her to sleep would only take a few minutes. Now, Chloe's crying keeps both of us up until she decides on her own to go back to sleep. I think I've decided that the sound of a crying baby stresses me out.

Either way it's difficult for both of us as Chloe will wake up in the middle of the night and cry for a good amount of time. Since no one is sleeping during these times, I figure this will be a good opportunity to wake up and finish playing Assassin's Creed II. Hey, I gotta do something right?

Chloe's behavior has changed a bit too during the day. Carolyn's conversations with other moms have said that sleep training will make baby a little more sad and mellow during the day. Information we've read on the interwebs confirm this. It's a bit depressing when I interact with her during the day. The hope is that this will be better for her in the long run though.

We'll give it a go for a little while longer and see what happens. So far though, I think sleep training is the poops.
