I think anytime I can accomplish something over a weekend is considered productive in my book. I usually feel very lazy on any Saturday that is just spent at home bumming around.

This Saturday I installed a hitch reciever on Carolyn's car. We're not planning on towing anything with it, but we'll now be able to use a bike rack on the back of the car. Handy for those weekends when we go to Houston, but the inside of the car is already filled to the brim with baby items. I bought this Curt hitch off of Amazon.com, and it was delivered in 2 days thanks to Amazon Prime. The install was pretty fast, as it only required 3 bolts on both sides. I think I installed it in about 30 minutes, but would have been a little faster had I had someone helping me to lift the hitch into position. (I just used a car jack to lift the opposite side).

Afterwards, I washed both our cars, and then also spent the afternoon watching college football. Neither car has been thoroughly cleaned in a loooong time. This morning I woke up feeling super sore and achy all over, but it was good feeling like I had actually been productive. I should start planning some other weekend projects.
