Yelp.com held a free party downtown this Thursday. It was their "Puttin' on the Ritz" party, a 1920's themed shindig at the Speakeasy, complete with free food and drink from various local restaurants.

Neither Carolyn or I really knew what people wore in the 1920's, so Carolyn used the power of Google Images to find some costume ideas. She went to Goodwill to find an outfit, and also went to the mall to dress me up as a paperboy. Our friends also got into the spirit of the night with their own mobster theme.

We had a good time with our friends. Afterwards we went down the street to the Elephant Room to enjoy some jazz over a glass of beer. Carolyn and I hit up @chilantroBBQ afterwards for a late night snack.

Thanks to Joyce who took care of Chloe while we were out on the town:)
